River Aqua Care Shrimp Kit

Complete Kit for Freshwater Shrimp and Crayfish Maintenance and Feeding

Size

Catappa (Indian almond), guava, and mulberry leaves are dietary supplements rich in minerals, fibers, and vitamins that facilitate molting in freshwater crustaceans and help them build a strong shell.

They also have antibacterial properties.

Catappa leaves acidify and tint the water for a more natural appearance.

The cinnamon stick and catappa bark have astringent effects, protecting mucous membranes against parasites.

They release tannins, humic acids, and essential oils that help prevent the most common diseases in freshwater crustaceans, while also creating natural hiding spots and supporting the immune system.

Contents: 5 catappa leaves, 5 guava leaves, 5 mulberry leaves, 25 mL Mineral River Shrimp Salt, 25 mL River Aqua Food Shrimp & Co, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 catappa bark.

Catappa Leaves:

Play an important antibacterial and antifungal role in the maintenance of invertebrates.
Promote vitality, well-being, and reproduction of fish and invertebrates.
Use: Add 1 leaf for every 30–70 L of water approximately every 2 weeks.
Leaves can remain in the aquarium until they are fully consumed or decomposed.

Guava Leaves:

Rich in fibers, vitamins, and minerals, they help prevent molting problems in shrimp.
They also have antibacterial effects, including against Vibrio bacteria, which are responsible for many shrimp diseases.
Use: Boil for 5 minutes, then let cool before placing in the aquarium.
Leaves can remain in the aquarium until they are fully consumed or decomposed.
One leaf per 15–20 L of water for about 2 weeks.

Mulberry Leaves:

A delicious treat for shrimp.
A few hours after being added to the aquarium, your shrimp will gather on the leaf and won’t leave until it’s fully consumed.
Use: Boil for 10 minutes, then let cool before placing in the aquarium.
Replace after 2–3 days.
It may be wise to give only a small piece to avoid overfeeding the aquarium.

Cinnamon Stick:

Protects invertebrates thanks to the oils and tannins it releases into the water, useful for preventing fungal or bacterial infections.
Its shape provides a hiding place for juvenile shrimp.
Use: One stick treats up to 100 L of water for 2 months; replace to maintain long-term benefits.

Catappa Bark:

Helps create water parameters close to those found in natural environments.
Plays an important antibacterial and antifungal role.
Promotes vitality, well-being, and reproduction of fish and invertebrates.
Use: One piece of bark treats up to 100 L of water for 2 months; replace to maintain long-term benefits.

River Aqua Food Shrimp & Co (25 mL):

Sinking stick food for freshwater shrimp and crayfish.
Use: Feed 1–2 times daily with only what can be eaten within 5 minutes. Remove leftovers promptly.

River Aqua Care Mineral Salt Shrimp (25 mL):

Mineral salts designed to turn osmosis water into high-quality aquarium water suitable for invertebrates (shrimp, crayfish, etc.).
Use: Generally, 15 mL (≈13 g) of Mineral Salt per 100 L of osmosis water. Adjust according to the species’ specific needs.
